Campfire Confessions Vol 1:5, A White Christmas for Halifax

I’m shaking things up a bit this week.

Instead of a marketing fail or flop, I want to share with you a feel-good marketing story.

Wunder Inc., a marketing agency here in Halifax, wanted to give locals a break from the nonstop ads this holidays season.

So they purchased $10K in blank ads around the city, including billboards, transit shelters, bus ads, a full page newspaper ad, social ads, and even radio ads.

They cleverly called it their “White Christmas” campaign, and have been inundated with people expressing their appreciation for the effort to promote a little less consumerism this year.
Pretty genius, if you ask me!

For this same reason, you won’t see a Campfire Confessions newsletter in your inbox next week. That’s one less email to open while spending time with loved ones.

My team and I wish you a very happy holiday season! We can’t wait to help you conquer the world in 2020 ๐Ÿ˜Š

In the meantime, share this “White Christmas” campaign with a fellow marketing friend ๐Ÿ‘‡
